One Lovely Blog Award

Jenna from Sparkly Kid has awarded me! For the first time in my blogging career, I received the One Lovely Blog Award. Thank you Jenna for this amazing award!

The Rules Of This Award:
1. Thank the person who nominated you and include a link to their blog.
2. List the rules and display the award.
3. Add 7 facts about yourself.
4. Nominate 15 other bloggers.
5. Follow the blogger who nominated you.

Seven facts about me:

  1. Once upon a time I vowed that I'd never have a Twitter account. And now I'm seriously thinking of breaking that vow...
  2. I've recently learned how to make the ultimate Caesar Salad
  3. I'm taking a Chinese course at college, starting next month
  4. I'm saving money so I can buy a ticket to the States and make some things from my List happen
  5. I've found the most amazing little shop in the Koopgoot in Rotterdam, can't wait to go Christmas shopping there!
    Sorry for mentioning Christmas already!
  6. I need to buy a new camera, it's been slowly dying since my Dad dropped it on the Inka Trail
  7. In conlcusion to that and #4, I desperately need a job -.-"

Okay so now I have to nominate 15 bloggers. Which is an awful lot. I don't even follow that many active bloggers, I'm afraid... Is five okay too?

Stay awesome!

  1. Even I promised myself at one point of time that I'd never ever create an Instagram or Twitter account. But I ended up creating an account in both!

    1. Hahaha, so I'm not the only one :) At some point all those accounts seem so pointless and then all of a sudden they seem pretty useful. But Instagram will never be high on my priority list; I still have an old DeviantArt account, so if I want to share pictures I'll do it there.

  2. Twitter is somewhat confusing. I've had an account for almost two years but all my updates are like
    "What is twitter for, anyway?"
    "WHATS WITH THIS LETTER LIMIT"
"Too much spam in my newsfeed!"
But now I think I've got the hang of it :/

    1. That letter limit will be a huge problem for me :P But even though it sounds like one bg confusing mess, I think I'm gonna give Twitter a shot

  3. I remember when twitter first became a "thing" and I swore up and down it would never become popular. It's been three years since then and I retract everything about my prior statement. A lot of kids my age quit the whole facebook thing (too many parents I suppose) and we all transitioned to twitter. That being said there are surprisingly a lot of things I love about twitter that has made me delete my facebook app off my phone entirely. Believe me, you'll eventually get the hang of it.

By the way *blushes* thanks for the nomination!

    1. You're welcome! ;)
I thought Twitter would never become a thing too, but here we are... Facebook is still big in the Netherlands and Twitter isn't all that popular, probably just as popular as Facebook and Instagram. When my Low Battery Challenge is over I think I'm gonna make a Twitter account :)
