Last Liebster Award
Literally months ago Dian from The Happy Candle nominated me for the Liebster Award. I wasn't sure if I was going to accept, because I've done a little too many Liebster Award posts throughout the years. But then I looked at Dian's post and I wasso impressed by the creative twist she'd given it that I couldn't help but accept. One of the other people who'd been nominated (back then known as Neal Kind) also did something very creative, so I felt like I couldn't stay behind. That's why I drew my answers instead of writing them down. Thank you, Dian, for nominating me and making the Liebster Award a little more awesome!
What makes you smile?
I recently posted about all the little things in life that make me smile. Drawing them all would have been a huge task, so I only drew the butterfly, because they're beautiful and fun to draw
What do you enjoy more - rain or snow?
Snow. Without a doubt. Can't make rain angles or rain men or have a rainball fight, can you?
If you could be any age for a week, what would it be?
I'm quite happy being 18 years old, but I'd like to be four again. I was the queen of the sandbox back in kindergarten and it was the only time in my life where I was actually very popular.
Which do you use more often - the dictionary or the thesaurus?
Dictionary, but mostly because I am Dutch, write my blog posts in English, study German and learn Spanish on my days off. It happens very often that I stumble across a word that I don't know, so I have to look it up in the dictionary to understand what I'm reading.
What are five words you would use to describe yourself?
Mostly words my friends use to describe me, though
If you had to lose one of your senses, which one would it be?
Sense of smell. I live literally half a mile away from a big dairy farm, my hometown is surrounded by meadows full of cows and every spring it smells terrible. I wouldn't miss that.
I had no idea how to draw this. I admit that I drew myself as the Hulk once, but drawing myself as Voldemort... no thanks.
Which one represents you more - polka dots or stripes?
I actually have no idea, but if I look at my wardrobe I see at least five shirts with strips, a dress and a pair of shorts, but absolutely nothing with polka dots.
I am known for my...
Insecurity and indecisiveness. I should also be known for my laziness when it comes to drawing hands...
Do you prefer numbers or letters?
What can I say? I am a writer after all.
What was the last lie you told?
"I'watched only one episode of Game of Thrones today!"
I watched three episodes. Don't tell my mom. She has a strict one-episode-a-day rule.
What is your favorite quote?

Okay, I didn't make that one. I got a little tired :P
And that's it for this Liebster Award. As you might have noticed in the title of this post, I'm not planning on doing more of these tags since I've done five or six of them over the past two years :)
Stay Awesome!

I love how you've put sketches next to each answer. They're so cute and they make each answer seem so much more personal. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Sarah :) I put a lot of effort into making this post more personal than a normal Q&A post, glad to hear you liked it :)
DeleteLove it! Great job on the drawings, you're such an awesome artist!

Thank you so much Bryleigh ^-^
DeleteI love this idea! It's a fresh breath of air from the usual Q and A posts. :)
ReplyDeleteI loved it so much when Dian did her original post that I felt like I should make mine 'different' too. I'm glad you like it!
DeleteWOW! YOur drawing is amazing. You really have Talent, I wish I could draw like you.
ReplyDeleteThank you Lea! I wouldn't say I'm talented, I just practiced for days on end for a couple of years. I bet you can be a great artist too ;)
DeleteHi Envy, thank you for taking the time to answer these questions! :) Loved how you drew the answers instead of writing them down, your drawings are wonderful. :) I love snow more than rain too, but I live in a tropical country and we never get snow or winters. You're so lucky to get to experience snow each year! :) I smiled while reading your answers and looking at the drawings. They're so unique and creative. :) Love the drawing of yourself stacking up the letters that spell out the word 'four' and the one with you and the army of letters attacking the numbers! That's such a great way of showing
ReplyDelete(Sorry, I accidentally published the comment before I could finish it! :( I'll continue where I left off) - the answers. And the last lie you told was pretty amusing too, haha. :) Thank you so much for answering the questions, Envy, love how you completed the tag in a different way and took the time to draw all these answers, your drawings are awesome! :) Have a great week ahead! :)
DeleteHaha, happens to me a lot with emails: I acidentally send most of them long before I'm done writing them :P
DeleteSorry it took me so long, but when I draw something I just want it to be as perfect as I can make it, you know?
Sadly I don't get to experience snow each and every year, but at least I always have a chance of a white Christmas :) I think I'd go crazy if I suddenly moved to a tropical country, I really can't live without winter :P
Thank you so much for your kind comment! :)
You have done a fantastic job on the drawings. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you very much :)
DeleteI solemnly swear that I am up to no good! Wait, no, I mean: I solemnly swear that I will answer each and every comment ;)
